Our First year students (60) conducted rally to create awareness regarding breast feeding at Edappadi GH on 7.08.2025.

As part of the World Breastfeeding Week 2025 celebrations, a rally was organized on 8th August 2025 by the Edappadi Government Hospital to raise awareness about the importance of breastfeeding in infant health and maternal well-being.

The rally conducted Edappadi GH.The event was graced by the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), Pediatric Specialist, and other senior medical officers and staff from the hospital. The local police department also extended their support by participating and ensuring smooth conduct and public safety throughout the rally.Stundents carried banners and pluckcards with messages promoting exclusive breastfeeding, proper nutrition for infants, and maternal care. The event aimed to educate the public on the lifelong benefits of breastfeeding and encourage community support for nursing mothers.

Our 2nd semester students conducted a Breastfeeding Week celebration for antenatal and postnatal mothers in the Labour OPD at Bhavani GH, in the presence of the Gynecologist, Chief Medical Officer, and the Nursing Superintendent. They performed a skit and    explained the benefits of breast milk, the dos and don'ts, and the correct positioning of the baby during breastfeeding using charts and picture
