CAMPUS MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE 2025-2026

Functions:

• Maintain gardens, lawns, and other green spaces to ensure a clean and pleasant campus environment.
• Oversee tree plantation drives and promote environmental sustainability initiatives.
• Ensure regular watering, pruning, and beautification activities across the campus landscape.
• Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all campus facilities, infrastructure, and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs and service reports.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including classrooms, washrooms, corridors, and open spaces.
• Coordinate daily cleaning and waste disposal activities with housekeeping staff.
• Implement and monitor sanitation protocols, especially in food preparation and healthrelated areas.
• Oversee the maintenance of gardens, lawns, and other green spaces on campus.
• Promote and support eco-friendly initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, composting, and sustainable landscaping.
