CAMPUS MAINTENANCE COMMITTEE 2024-2025
Functions:
- Maintain gardens, lawns, and other green spaces to ensure a clean and pleasant campus environment.
- Oversee tree plantation drives and promote environmental sustainability initiatives.
- Ensure regular watering, pruning, and beautification activities across the campus landscape.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance schedule for all campus facilities, infrastructure, and equipment.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs and service reports.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Ensure cleanliness and hygiene in all areas, including classrooms, washrooms, corridors, and open spaces.
- Coordinate daily cleaning and waste disposal activities with housekeeping staff.
- Implement and monitor sanitation protocols, especially in food preparation and healthrelated areas.
- Oversee the maintenance of gardens, lawns, and other green spaces on campus.
- Promote and support eco-friendly initiatives such as rainwater harvesting, composting, and sustainable landscaping.
